Day 01
Kampala / Entebbe to Western Uganda
Meet your Kingo Adventurers guide and begin your journey towards Uganda's western forest country. Travel through changing landscapes and countryside, with opportunities to appreciate local communities and scenic viewpoints before arriving at your accommodation.
Day 02
Into the Primate Forest
Enter the forest for your first immersive primate experience. With the assistance of specialist guides, explore the habitat and look for chimpanzees and other forest primates. The experience is as much about understanding the ecosystem as it is about seeing wildlife.
Day 03
Chimpanzee Tracking & Forest Discovery
Dedicate another day to Uganda's extraordinary primate environment. Follow forest trails in search of chimpanzees and other wildlife, while your guide interprets animal behaviour, vegetation and the wider ecology of the forest.
Day 04
Forest Walks, Wildlife & Scenic Exploration
Enjoy a more relaxed exploration of the surrounding landscape. Depending on the final route, this day can include a nature walk, additional primate viewing, birding, photography or time to simply enjoy the natural environment around your lodge.
Day 05
Return to Kampala / Entebbe
After breakfast, begin your return journey towards Kampala or Entebbe. Travel through Uganda's scenic countryside and enjoy the final moments of your private primate adventure before your journey concludes.

Forest wildlife is genuinely wild and sightings can never be guaranteed. The experience depends on animal movement, weather, forest conditions and other natural factors. What can be guaranteed is the opportunity to spend meaningful time in some of Uganda's most remarkable primate habitats with knowledgeable local guides.

Primate encounters take place in natural forest environments. Sightings are influenced by season, weather, animal movement and forest conditions. Tracking and viewing activities are conducted according to the applicable conservation rules and instructions of local guides and authorities. Where permits or specialist activities apply, these will be confirmed as part of your final quotation.
